How much does garden design cost?
We are proud to offer FREE initial garden design consultations (within our usual working area) and fixed-price garden design fees. It’s pretty simple- we charge according to the size of the garden we are asked to design, and we publish our prices on this website so that you'll have a good idea of the likely costs before you choose to get in touch with us. We'll always confirm our fees in writing prior to beginning your garden project, and we won't ask for payment until we have completed your design(s).

Gardens up to 100m2 (approx. 1000ft2): £645
Gardens up to 1,000m2 (approx. ¼ acre): £845
Gardens up to 4,000m2 (approx. 1 acre): £1,045
Gardens larger than 4,001m2 (approx. 1 acre): please ask for details
Garden design fees: garden planting plans
A bespoke planting plan to fully complement your new garden, showing the perfect
selection of planting choices to make the most of your space and soil conditions
Gardens up to 100m2 (approx. 1000ft2): £395
Gardens up to 1,000m2 (approx. ¼ acre): £495
Gardens up to 4,000m2 (approx. 1 acre): £595
Gardens larger than 4,001m2 (approx. 1 acre): please ask for details
Garden design fees: lighting plans
A personalised and detailed lighting plan, showing the best lighting products to create
wonderfully atmospheric effects to help you to make the most of your new garden

Gardens up to 1,000m2 (approx. ¼ acre): £295
Gardens up to 4,000m2 (approx. 1 acre): £395

PLEASE NOTE: the above fee structures for planting and lighting plans are for projects where Tythorne Garden Design has already designed the garden. Planting and lighting plans may be priced differently for gardens we haven't designed. Please ask for more details.
