Professional, qualified and experienced: your local garden designer

We want to help you to enjoy your garden more. Choosing a professional garden designer is the first step towards enjoying a fantastic new garden, but we appreciate that finding the right landscape designer for your project may seem a little daunting. Let’s begin by telling you how we work and how we’ll always try to make investing in your garden with Tythorne Garden Design as easy and enjoyable as possible.

We had designed our "dream house for life" and we wanted a garden with a "wow" factor to complement it

Tythorne listened to our ideas and specific requirements exceptionally well. We were made to feel at all times that ultimately the design had to work for us as a family. It felt like we were working as a team.

Ian was very personable and one of the few designers to actually listen to our requirements and keep them at the forefront of the design process.

I feel that the initial brief was certainly met and there was a lot of flexibility with the approach. Nothing was set in stone and the design kept being relayed back to our desire for practicality and low maintenance.

What do you want your new garden to be?

It's your garden and your project, so we start the garden design process by listening to you. It might sound simple, but what do you want your new garden to be? How do you want to use it? Is it going to be a perfect venue for alfresco entertaining? Is it going to be a calming retreat at the end of a busy working week? Or, is it going to simply be a safe and stimulating environment for you and your family?

What about the practicalities? Do you want your new garden to feel more spacious? More private? More practical? More beautiful? More exciting? More easy to look after? Tythorne Garden Design can provide beautiful and practical garden design ideas and solutions and help you make the most of your space.

Relax, you're in control of your garden design project

You will always be in control of your project when you invest in your garden with Tythorne Garden Design. Your initial garden design consultation will usually be free of charge (within our usual working areas), and we’ll produce a simple client brief to ensure that we have understood what you are hoping to achieve.

Having agreed the project brief we will then begin to design your new garden. A subsequent 'work-in-progress' meeting will enable us to explain our ideas, answer your questions and discuss any potential changes. Having listened carefully to your feedback, we will then create a detailed garden design presentation plan that meets with your complete satisfaction.
